KASHMIRY is a New York based jewelry line created by Katie Kashmiry, a jewelry designer and metalsmith specializing in handcrafted sterling silver.
With a key emphasis on casual luxury, Kashmiry’s avant-garde design approach blurs boundaries between streetwear, high fashion and functional everyday. Inspired by simplicity and geometric harmony, Kashmiry’s works are a visual exploration of minimalist and industrial design. Kashmiry’s most recent collection expresses her interests in intuitive drawing, the play of line and light, and the rhythmic repetition of shapes.
All jewelry is designed in Kashmiry’s studio using traditional wax carving and hand fabrication techniques and often made in collaboration with New York-based casters and skilled jewelers.
Encouraged by the power of incorporating giving in business, Kashmiry donates ten percent of profits to charity and nonprofit organizations working to promote art and creativity in everyday life.
With a strong belief in the healing power of the arts, Kashmiry is currently supporting the University of Florida Center for Arts and Medicine. The Center provides education and training in the use of arts to enhance health, research of the arts in medicine, and outreach to promote art and creativity as healing modalities.
